Childcare Should Be Fun

My name is Allison, and welcome to Creative Connection Preschool!

When I started working with preschoolers in 2016, I never dreamed that I was discovering a life-long passion for early childhood education! After interning for a year with children and completing my undergraduate degree in social work, I realized that my calling was to be a teacher for kids at one of the most special times in their lives—the 0-5 years.

However, I quickly discovered that finding quality childcare centers was difficult for children and their families. Long wait times, impersonal service, and burnt out communities were not what I envisioned for my students and families!

I partnered with a local family to begin Best Buddies Preschool in Lake Oswego in 2018, and we soon developed an incredible early childhood experience based on open communication, holistic care, and individualized teaching that meets the diverse needs of each child. We soon found it was time for our community to grow into a new location, and thus Creative Connection Preschool was born in 2021, with our daycare opening in 2023 to support all young members of our families!

We believe that each child has the right to a safe, supportive environment where their physical, social, emotional, mental, and developmental needs are not only met, but filled to their fullest potential. A day at Creative Connection is one that is full of art, music, play-based exploration, group activities, and so much more!
